This course is designed for healthcare, care home, and support staff who care for people with epilepsy and may be required to respond to seizures. It focuses on recognising different seizure types, providing safe first aid, and administering prescribed rescue medication in line with individual care plans. The course covers seizure triggers, risk factors, use of emergency care plans, and the safe administration of rescue medicines. Training is practical and scenario‑based, helping staff act confidently, safely, and promptly during a seizure emergency
